I was so glad to have the opportunity to show the new website at our May Salad Supper. I hope you’ve had the opportunity to explore the website and are now becoming more comfortable navigating through it. The new website gives us the opportunity to spread the news on what a great Guild we really are!
I hope that the Guild’s Executive Board, Committees, and members will use the new website to communicate with members on a continuous basis. It is not necessary to wait until the publication of our newsletter to submit articles or share information. Though the newsletter editor requests that articles be submitted by the 20th of the month, it is not necessary to wait until then to be posted on the website. I will post them the day they are received.
I am looking for someone to serve on the Website Committee with me. It is important to have more than one person available to add content and make changes. You don’t need to have website experience. If you are comfortable using a computer, uploading files and can copy and paste, you qualify! Please contact me if you are interested.
It was suggested to me that every month I post a “tip” on using the website or highlight a new feature. What a wonderful idea! So below is my first “tip of the month”.

Website Tip of the Month
The Guild is now using Google Calendar to post events. With Google Calendar you can change the current view by clicking on either Week, Month or Agenda View in the upper right hand corner. You can also print any of the views using the print icon button.
