Classes with guest speakers:
Most speakers set a limit on the size of classes and we pay that amount. If the speaker says she will teach a class of 20 and only 15 people sign up, we are still obligated to pay for 20. Sometimes the number of people who wish to sign up exceeds the limit, and we set up a waiting list, contingent on whether or not the teacher will allow additional people to enroll. It was decided that if the teach allows extra students, these extras must pay the total additional fee charged by the teacher to guarantee a seat in the class.
