PLEASE! PLEASE! PLEASE! We really need magazines for our display at Bloomington Public Library during April. AQS are preferred, but others would also be welcome.. We will offer them free to promote quilting, our guild and Quilt Spectrum 2019. Place them on the table near the library cart. There will be an AQS sign.
Members the Quilt Show is fast approaching and I want to remind you all of a few things. First and most important quilt entries need to be in by April 4th at the end of our meeting. Please consider entering one as numbers are low at this point. Second, there are still quite a few openings in the workshops for Suzi Parron. This is now open the general public so ask friends and family. Last, we will be getting the volunteer link set up soon. Please take a look and consider signing up.
The 2019 Mennonite Relief Sale, which benefits local food pantries and world relief efforts, was held March 15th & 16th. Guild members Cheryl Adam, Barb Baumann, Jo Bressan, Pat Dahme, Carol Newberry, Pat Pummill, Pam Riss, and Marilyn Sutherland and friends of the late Anne Powell donated seventeen quilts that sold for $2,525. The Committee greatly appreciates your generous donations. Thank you everyone!
The guild received 41 Nursing Home / Cancer Comfort Quilts, 6 Baby Blankets, 20 Receiving Baby Blankets plus burp cloths, and 1 Fidgit Quilt. They were delivered following the last meeting.
Our helpers at the Community Projects table handed out many kits for blankets and pillow cases at the March general meeting. We still have some pillow case kits available if you would like to sew them. There is NO due date or time limit on completing these kits. When finished, they will be delivered to some of our local facilities as the others have been.
Thank you again for making this a very successful ‘giving’ year.

Thank you for your recent gift to Home Sweet Home Ministries in memory of Laurie Anne Powell. Anne was generous in sharing her time, talents, and resources with Home Sweet Home Ministries. Your thoughtful gift will continue her legacy of caring for others.
You gift will assist us as we work with our clients to experience dignity, practice equity, and develop capability. These goals are being accomplished every day through our programs for shelter residents and participants in our Bread for Life Food Co-op, Bridge of Hope program, and Rapid Rehousing program.
Thank you for honoring the memory of Laurie Anne Powell in this meaningful way.
